Johannesburg, South Africa – VIBE Experiential Agency, a powerhouse led by young Black creatives, is celebrating a milestone anniversary: five years of reshaping how brands connect with audiences. Renowned for their innovative approach, VIBE not only blends brand strategy and digital excellence but also seamlessly integrates culture and commerce.

Since its launch in 2019, VIBE has delivered standout marketing solutions, pushing the boundaries of experiential marketing. Their diverse and dynamic team consistently creates campaigns that spark meaningful connections,communication and resonate deeply with target audiences.

VIBE prioritizes understanding youth culture and using that knowledge to tell impactful stories through their campaigns. Here are a few examples of their recent successes:

1. SHEIN x Sphokuhle Look-Book Campaign: This collaboration with South African digital star Sphokuhle resulted in a stylish Black Friday look-book. VIBE managed the entire process, from concept to execution, achieving over 10 million social media views. This ongoing campaign continues to generate significant buzz and engagement.

2. Hyundai’s #HyundaiVerse: Focused on increasing dealership awareness, VIBE created innovative activations featuring test drives, interactive activities, and enticing food and beverage options. This campaign resulted in 102 test drives, 24 finance applications, and 15 vehicle sales, significantly boosting Hyundai’s brand visibility and customer engagement.

3. Lucky Star – The Taste of Home: Partnering with 27Ten Concepts for the Zee Nation Festival, VIBE brought the iconic Lucky Star brand to life in a multi-sensory experience. The activation included a lounge, a kitchen serving delicious Lucky Star-inspired street food, a fashion showcase featuring the brand’s clothing line, and a playroom filled with interactive games and prizes. “Food is more than just sustenance; it’s a universal language,” says Keamogetswe Mgudlwa, VIBE’s Head of Culinary. “We created dishes that sparked joy, ignited creativity, and reminded audiences of Lucky Star’s rich heritage.”

4. TTCX Powered by TikTok: Through the Tik Tok Creative Exchange partnership, VIBE has elevated content for brands across diverse industries. Their expertise has boosted brand video views, impressions, reach, and conversions. A notable example was crafting a series of videos showcasing Mr D as the ultimate “Matchday Partner” for South African sports fans. This campaign achieved a staggering 70 million views and over 20 million impressions. “TikTok is a platform where culture is created and shared,” says Charlotte Mathe, VIBE’s Head of Social Media. “We’re thrilled to continue delivering impactful campaigns that leave a lasting impression.”
