The quest to find the next Miss South Africa is about to get even more exciting! The highly anticipated reality show, Miss South Africa: Crown Chasers, returns for its 2024 season with a fresh panel of judges. Joining the show are actress, presenter, and entrepreneur Leandie du Randt, returning for her second year, and media personality and Metro FM presenter Lerato Kganyago, making her debut.

Airing on S3 every Saturday at 8:30 PM starting June 29th, Crown Chasers is a six-episode series that takes viewers behind the scenes of the Miss South Africa competition. Throughout the show, contestants face real-life challenges based on the organization’s four pillars: duty, championship, empowerment, and beauty. Each week, a contestant is chosen as the challenge winner, while another is eliminated by the judges. The remaining ladies then move on to compete in the live grand finale held on August 10th at the SunBet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria.

Du Randt, thrilled to be back, expresses her love for the show. “It allows the contestants to see what’s expected of them if they win,” she says, highlighting the valuable experience the challenges provide.
