Attention, film enthusiasts and aspiring storytellers! The organizers of the prestigious Joburg Film Festival (JFF) have unveiled the much-anticipated dates for its seventh edition. Alongside the announcement, a thrilling open call for local filmmakers has been issued, giving South Africans a chance to showcase their work on the prestigious JFF stage.
In collaboration with MultiChoice, a leading African storyteller, the Joburg Film Festival will take place from March 11th to 16th, 2025, in the heart of Sandton, Johannesburg. This renowned event promises to unite filmmakers, industry professionals, and film lovers in a vibrant celebration of cinematic excellence.
For the first time ever, the JFF is opening its arms to South African filmmakers! This exciting opportunity allows aspiring and established directors to submit their feature-length or short films for consideration.
